Mr. Hostetter has 19 years experience representing California fire districts and cities in all public-sector matters, including advising public agency staff on transactional matters and in litigating disputes.
Mr. Hostetter has practiced before several trial and appellate courts in the State of California in a wide range of matters, including litigation involving municipal law, environmental compliance, and contract disputes.

Mr. Hostetter has drafted, reviewed, and edited numerous public and local entity agreements related to land use, employment, service and mutual aid, change of organization, and joint powers agreements.
Mr. Hostetter regularly prepares, reviews, and edits resolutions, agendas, requests for proposals, ordinances, general and specific plans, regulations, and other public and local entity documents.
